How To Get Rid Of Unwanted Gray Hair

For many people around the world, the onset of gray hair can be somewhat upsetting or to some extent, devastating. This should not be the case. By studying and understanding what causes gray hair and how to prevent or get rid of it we will be empowering ourselves with the knowledge to deal with such situations when they arise.

That said; some people start noticing these hairs on their head in their early and late twenties. This is no cause for alarm. Generally speaking, gray hair is caused when the follicle is unable to add color to the hair. Alternatively, one may start noticing this hair as a sign that they lack sufficient melanin in the body. Melanin is the substance that is responsible for giving our hair its color and when it lacks in the body or is not sufficient then our hair starts to turn gray.

This article will talk about three ways that one can use to get rid of gray hair. Please note that these are natural remedies and they need to be followed diligently for several weeks or in some cases months for the intended results to be achieved.

The first technique used in getting rid of this hair involves making a paste of goose berries and mango seeds. Once this is done, one is required to apply it on the scalp and hair and let it be for a couple of hours before finally washing it off. If this treatment is consistently followed one may start noticing positive signs in a few days.

The second technique involves curd and black pepper. If you’re noticing gray hair on your head then you’re advised to take a hundred grams of curd and add one gram of black pepper to it. After mixing these substances apply the mixture evenly to your hair and scalp and wait for at least an hour. After one hour elapses you can wash the mixture off using warm water and shampoo. The curd is used to eliminate hair dandruff while the black pepper helps darken the hair. Treatment should be carried out once a week for positive results to be observed.

The third technique of getting color back to your hair involves henna. In order to add color to your hair make a paste of henna and let it stay overnight. In the morning apply some walnut pulp and apply it on the hair and on the scalp and wait for at least two hours then gently wash this mixture off.
